Traffic Segmentation

Challenge: A large retail company wants to perform a comprehensive traffic analysis prior to a planned traffic reorganization. The current solution with an induction loop represented a significant financial burden and infrastructural intervention.

Solution: The DataKing sensor not only provides reliable counting but also enables traffic segmentation (passenger cars, vans, trucks) and simultaneously measures vehicle speeds. Installation is inexpensive, simple, and fast. The sensor operates on batteries that last 6-10 years, and data access is immediate.

Monitoring of refrigeration temperatures and the distribution process

Challenge: Due to extreme conditions (cold, thick insulated walls), capturing and transmitting temperature data in cold storage facilities is a major infrastructural challenge.

Solution: The two-part DataKing sensor is installed in minutes, providing reliable, accurate, real-time data transmission. Additionally, the sensor records temperature rises and immediately sends this information to the DataKing control center.

Challenge: The company supplies chlorine to large public swimming pools. The tanks are located indoors where internet connection is a major challenge, and sensors inside the tanks are not feasible. The company was forced to manually monitor the liquid quantity, which was time-consuming and inefficient. Delivery was also not optimized, as it often happened that deliveries were made before they were needed.

Solution: An ultrasonic DataKing sensor, placed or installed on top of the tank, regularly sends data about the current status. In addition to the exact quantity in liters, the sensor also monitors unplanned level changes and thus alerts to possible leaks or unauthorized filling.
